Virtually any blind or shade can be ordered to cover a French door. The blind can be mounted above the doors – make sure you have plenty of room for stacking clearance so the door can open without obstruction – or directly onto the door. Allow extra width so that the shade overlaps the glass by at least 1” on each side. Watch for obstructions like dead bolts and door knobs.
Add hold down brackets to your order – they are available at no extra charge – to clip the shade into place at the bottom of the shade so that it doesn’t bounce when the door is opened and closed.
